Here’s a look at my main focus areas right now. As I’m only a single person working on Billy, I have to prioritize and decide where to spend my time. This page is an attempt to make transparent what features are coming up, are maybe already in testing, and which are set to get explored another day.

OpenType Features in Styling
More fine-grained control over typographic details through OpenType to control things like stylistic sets or alternative letterforms.
Statistics
Analyzing all your revenue streams in total or per client is already possible today via a CSV export, but in-app statistics could help to get an overview of the current financial situation.
iOS Companion App
An app on your mobile device to view and track sent invoices and get an overview of outstanding payments.

When writing invoices, you often have recurring items. This feature should help you avoid the task of rewriting item descriptions.
Almost ready
Quotes
Invoices and quotes are closely related. For many, the quote already contains most of the data that will land in the invoice at some point.
Plugins
A plugin system to write small JavaScript add-ons to import or export data with support for various different text-based formats.
E-Invoice Viewer App
Currently, Billy contains a viewer feature to get a human-readable version of e-invoices you get. This feature will be available as a free separate app.
